Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare has expressed deep sympathy to the people of Owo following the recent crisis that disrupted peace in the town.
In a statement on Tuesday, the philanthropist and community development advocate commiserated with affected families, calling the incident a tragic and unfortunate event that has shaken the community’s foundation. He described Owo as a historically significant town and urged its residents to remain united during this challenging period.
Hon. OGO lauded the swift and decisive actions of Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in addressing the situation. He praised the governor for deploying security operatives promptly and ensuring the restoration of peace and order in the town. According to Chief Ogundare, the governor’s proactive measures demonstrated a strong commitment to the safety and well-being of the people.
Chief Ogundare also Commiserates with the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, the Owo Indigenes, the APC family in Owo, and individuals affected by the tragic incident.
He also called on Owo indigenes to embrace peace and work towards rebuilding trust and harmony in the community. And prayed that God will comfort the families affected by the ugly incident.
