Hon. Kevin Solomon Olaolu, the Senior Special Assistant on Student Affairs to the Ondo State Governor, has reiterated his commitment to grassroots development and youth empowerment during today’s Local Government elections across the 18 LGAs of Ondo State.
In a statement issued shortly after casting his vote at Afo Ward 1, Ose Local Government, Hon. Olaolu emphasized the significance of the elections in shaping inclusive governance at the grassroots level.
“Today marks a pivotal moment for grassroots governance in Ondo State as we elect Chairmen and Councillors who will drive community development, enhance service delivery, and uphold the principles of good governance.
As the Senior Special Assistant on Student Affairs, I wholeheartedly endorse all APC candidates participating in these elections. Their leadership embodies the impactful governance we have experienced under the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both state and national levels. These candidates are committed to sustainable growth, youth empowerment, and infrastructural development in our communities.
I urge all students, youths, and stakeholders to actively participate in this democratic exercise by casting their votes for APC candidates. By doing so, we ensure the election of leaders who prioritize youth and student welfare, champion education, foster job creation, and advance community growth.
As we head to the polls, I appeal for peace, unity, and decorum. Let us demonstrate responsibility and respect for the democratic process as we work together to build a better Ondo State.”
Hon. Olaolu also charged the youth and students present to remain politically active, emphasizing that their involvement is key to shaping policies that reflect their aspirations and contribute to a brighter future for all.
