The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, has assured corps members that they will soon receive a minimum monthly allowance of N77,000.
This announcement was made during the commissioning of a staff bus donated by Capital Express Insurance Company in Abuja.
According to Ahmed, arrangements for the increased allowance have been finalized, and the welfare and security of corps members remain his top priorities.
He also acknowledged the transportation challenges faced by staff and corps members, which the donated bus aims to address.
The Chief Executive Officer of Capital Express Insurance, Mr. Matthew Ogwezhi, highlighted the importance of organizations giving back to society, emphasizing that a company’s legacy is defined by its positive impact on the community.
