The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the commencement of the 2024 Batch C Stream 2 orientation camp, which opened today, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, across all states in Nigeria.
This update was shared by the NYSC on X (formerly Twitter), along with confirmation that deployment letters for Batch C Stream 2 are now available. Prospective corps members (PCMs) can access their deployment details online in preparation for the service year.
The NYSC issued a safety reminder urging PCMs to avoid night travel while heading to their designated camps. “PCMs are advised not to travel at night to the Orientation Camp,” the statement stressed.
The scheme also reminded PCMs to complete certain registration requirements upon arrival. “Prospective corps members are advised to print and sign the addendum, which must be submitted during camp registration,” the NYSC added.
Due to logistical reasons, some PCMs originally posted to Lagos State will be attending camps in Ekiti, Ondo, or Osun states. Similarly, some assigned to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will attend orientation in Nasarawa or Kaduna.
The NYSC urged all prospective corps members to adhere to these instructions and prepare for the mandatory three-week orientation program. PCMs are also encouraged to follow the NYSC’s official social media platforms for additional updates.
