The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has officially announced the reopening of its passport application portal, now fully operational after undergoing system upgrades and maintenance.
In a statement signed by NIS Public Relations Officer, DCI KT Udo, it was clarified that the portal had been temporarily closed for essential updates.
The statement read: “The Nigeria Immigration Service is pleased to inform the public that our online passport application portal is now back in optimal service, following necessary system upgrades and maintenance.
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused during the recent closure and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding. The Service remains committed to providing excellent service to Nigerians worldwide.”
