Senator Chris Ngige and his former godfather, Chief Chris Uba, were seen in a rare show of reconciliation at the tripartite events of former House of Representatives member Hon. Okwudili Ezenwankwo.
The two exchanged pleasantries and sat together during the celebration at Holy Trinity Cathedral Church, Nkwoagu, Nanka, Anambra State.
The event, which marked Ezenwankwo’s wife’s silver jubilee and golden age birthday, included a special church service led by His Eminence, Peter Ebere Cardinal Okpalaeke. During the service, Cardinal Okpalaeke emphasised the importance of family love, peace, and respect for societal harmony, stating, “The health of families determines the health of the nation.”
Ngige and Uba were seen chatting and, after the event, left together in their separate convoys, sparking surprise among onlookers.
In his sermon, Cardinal Okpalaeke also urged a return to farming to combat hunger, noting, “We must do our part and government theirs; I even farm myself.”
Other dignitaries in attendance included APGA national president Hon. Sly Ezeokenwa, Vice President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene, and Hon. Vincent Ekenedilichukwu Ofumere, among others. They praised the Ezenwankwo couple for their 25-year marriage, praying for continued blessings and wisdom.
