Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Reformatory Institutions and Member Representing Akoko Northeast/Northwest Federal Constituency, has appointed Adeleye Umar Lukman as the new Liaison Officer for ORUN Ward 1, Akoko Northeast, Ikare-Akoko.
Adeleye Umar Lukman, a dedicated community leader and Secretary of Okoja Community, also serves as Chairman of both the Okoja Muslim Community and the PTA of Ansar Islam Primary School. His appointment followed a rigorous selection process where leaders and stakeholders of Orun Ward 1 nominated and endorsed him unanimously for the position.
This appointment comes after the resignation of Olalekan Badmus (Mo Badmus), whose contributions and commitment during his tenure were commendable. Hon. Ehindero expressed gratitude for his service and wished him success in his future endeavors.
The Honorable also reiterated his confidence in Adeleye Umar Lukman’s capacity to strengthen communication and drive development in the ward. He called on the people of Orun Ward 1 to extend their full support to him in this new role.
