Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has reaffirmed his commitment to the peace and development of Adamawa State, pledging to position the state on the global map. He thanked residents, especially the youth, for their overwhelming turnout at the 2024 crossover celebration into 2025.
Speaking at the Unity Bridge in Yola, the Governor announced plans for youth empowerment, including recruitment into the civil service, describing the year as one of great opportunities.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries such as the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Amb. Iliya Damagum; service chiefs; federal legislators; Dr. Edgar Amos Sunday, the Governor’s Chief of Staff; members of the State House of Assembly; and commissioners.
Thousands were entertained by outstanding performances from local and national celebrities, making the #ADUnityCrossOver a remarkable start to the new year.
