Manchester City has signed 25-year-old Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt on a four-and-a-half-year deal, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until 2029.
Marmoush, who has earned 35 caps for Egypt, expressed his excitement about joining one of the best teams in the world under Pep Guardiola. The striker began his career in Egypt with Wadi Degla and moved to Germany in 2017, playing for Wolfsburg before joining Frankfurt in 2023.
His impressive form with Frankfurt saw him score 17 goals in 41 appearances during the 2023/24 season, and he has continued strong performances this campaign, with 20 goals and 14 assists in 26 games.
