Lieutenant General Jeremiah Timbut Useni, former Bendel State Military Governor, ex-FCT Minister, ACF Chairman, Sardaunan Plateau, and distinguished Senator, has passed away at 82
After retiring from the military, General Useni transitioned into politics, where he continued his service to the nation. He served as Deputy Chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and was elected Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District in 2015 under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
He was PDP Governorship candidate in 2019.
