Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has named Alhaji Abubakar Adamu as the new Chairman of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
The governor’s spokesperson, Tersoo Kula, announced the appointment in a statement, noting that it takes immediate effect. Governor Alia expressed confidence in Adamu’s experience and leadership abilities, emphasizing his capacity to effectively manage the board’s affairs.
While congratulating Adamu, the governor urged him to align with the administration’s vision, as outlined in the strategic plan “A Strategic Plan for a Greater Benue,” and to prioritize the state’s interests in all his official duties.
