The Lagos State School Chess Championship, powered by NNPC-SNEPCo in partnership with Chess in Slums Africa (CiSA), led by founder Tunde Onakoya, took place on November 30, 2024. The event brought together 30 teams from secondary schools across Lagos and participants from the Chess in Slums initiative.
The competition featured five intense rounds, with the teams accumulating the highest points emerging as winners:
