Somtochukwu Precious Monanu, a 29-year-old Nigerian school dropout better known as Pinovibes and CEO of GossipMill Naija, has made headlines for his remarkable contribution to education. Born in Edo State but originally from Igbo Ukwu in Anambra State, Somto Monanu recently took on the challenge of renovating the Oluwo Ikija Community School in Ogun State, which was in a dire state.
Monanu, who grew up observing the poor state of many schools in Yoruba land, decided to act. Using his resources and influence, he renovated the school under 10 days, providing students with a conducive learning environment.
His efforts have inspired many, as he has proven that one does not need a formal education to make a significant impact on society. Somto Monanu’s journey from being a dropout to a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist reflects resilience and determination.
