The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has issued a directory for the public to report cash shortages at ATMs and Deposit Money Banks (DMBs). The initiative, effective from December 1, 2024, aims to improve cash availability and circulation.
To report issues, the public should provide details such as the account name, DMB name, amount, and time of the incident, and contact the relevant CBN branch via phone or email. The CBN will use these reports to enforce compliance with cash availability regulations at banks and ATMs.
