Moving closer to February 2025, as Ede South Local Government election approaches. A former student leader, Comr. Ismail Alade (IWA HUSTLER) endorsed Hon. Kolawole Salami and Alh. Olaleye Fatai as the candidates of All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively in the coming Local Government election.
Comr. Ismail Alade portrayed Hon. Kola Salami as a figure with untainted personality, traceable antecedents and hope for every individual in Ede South Local Government.
As a short-time former Chairman of Ede South LG that contributed immensely to the lives of people and development of Ede South, such as;
1. Facilitated health equipment and provided medicines to notable maternity in Ede South.
2. Repaired and drilled new boreholes for communities needed.
3. Facilitated palliatives program for the needy.
