The Minister for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, has thrown his weight behind the posting of members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to workplaces that fit into their areas of study.
The minister also pleaded with organisations in the country not to reject National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members when posted to them for their compulsory national service.
The NYSC is a compulsory one-year national service for Nigerian graduates who finished school on or before 30 years old.
It will be noted the 2024 Batch C members finished their three weeks of camping exercise on Tuesday.
“I am pleading with the prospective employers to accept corps members posted to their organisations to accept them for the country’s benefit as they leave camp,” he pleaded.
