Afrobeats star Burna Boy reveals why he chooses not to appear on podcast interviews, shedding light on his personal and professional reasons.
Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, has expressed his refusal to participate in podcast interviews unless they are conducted by professionals.
He emphasized that as a professional in his field, he believes only another expert is qualified to interview him. In a statement shared on his Instastory, he remarked, “I am not interested in those podcast or ringlight formats.
I am a professional in my profession, and only a professional in their own field is fit to interview ODG.”
Despite his general aversion to interviews, Burna Boy indicated a willingness to engage with renowned media figure Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, stating that he would prefer to have a conversation with him to address recent events.
He inquired if Ebuka was still conducting interviews, acknowledging his dislike for interviews while expressing interest in having one with him.
