Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun on Wednesday presented a N1.055 trillion budget for 2025, titled the ‘Budget of Hope and Prosperity,’ to the State House of Assembly.
The budget allocates N600.98 billion for capital expenditure and N453.56 billion for recurrent expenses. Key sectors include infrastructure (27%), education (17%), and health (13%).
Abiodun highlighted major projects such as hospital renovations and metro rail extensions. The House of Assembly, led by Speaker Oludaisi Elemide, pledged support for the budget’s passage and collaboration with the executive and judiciary.
