Tragedy struck in the UK as a Nigerian man, identified as Donpir, reportedly passed away after his wife allegedly abandoned him and their three children.
Reports indicate that the couple had recently migrated to the UK from Nigeria with their kids. However, shortly after their relocation, the wife allegedly left her husband, who was a student, to care for their three children alone.
Left to handle the overwhelming responsibilities of parenting and studies, Donpir reportedly became frustrated. Sadly, he passed away in his room, leaving the three children with his lifeless body until neighbors noticed and raised an alarm.
Reacting to the incident, Fr. Ebube Mounso commented:
“If you allow them hurt you, they will ask God for forgiveness, and He will forgive them, but you will be gone.”
This heartbreaking incident underscores the mental and emotional challenges faced by immigrants, particularly those navigating family struggles in unfamiliar environments.
