Nigeria’s Super Eagles have dropped eight spots in the latest FIFA men’s ranking, now sitting in 44th place, down from their previous position of 36th. The updated rankings were released on FIFA’s official website on Thursday.
The three-time African champions also fell from 4th to 5th place in Africa. In November, the Super Eagles recorded one draw and one loss in their two matches.
Morocco remains the top-ranked team in Africa, followed by Senegal, Algeria, and Egypt in second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
