Singer Crown Uzama, widely recognized as Shallipopi, has proclaimed ace rapper Olamide as the reigning figure in Nigerian street music.
In a recent interview with Naija FM, Shallipopi elaborated on his decision to feature Olamide in his track ‘Order,’ attributing it to Olamide’s significant influence in the street music scene.
He remarked, “Baddo [Olamide] is the father and king of Nigerian street music. Therefore, I included him in ‘Order’ as it is a street song, and Olamide truly embodies that essence.”
