-Olamide Akinolu, a 30-year-old man, was allegedly beaten to death at Osas Hotel in Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State, on Tuesday around 12:40 p.m.
-Akinolu had gone to the hotel to meet a man to whom he had paid N50,000 to rent musical instruments.
-After the attack, Akinolu began vomiting blood and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor.
-The Ogun State Police Command confirmed the incident, with efforts underway to apprehend those responsible. The motive behind the assault is still unclear.
-Following the victim’s death, a group attacked the hotel, injuring the manager and damaging several instruments. Police officers were dispatched to restore order.
