The Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 general election, Mr. Peter Obi, has encouraged Nigerian students considering opportunities abroad after graduation to pursue those options.
Speaking during his donation to two higher education institutions in Anambra State, Obi expressed that if Nigeria improves, those who have left the country will likely return.
The institutions receiving support were Peter University in Achina/Onneh and the School of Nursing Sciences in Adazi-Nnukwu.
While addressing nursing students, Obi reaffirmed his commitment to supporting institutions that foster skill development and professionalism.
He highlighted the importance of public trust in leadership and reiterated that students should not feel constrained from seeking opportunities abroad if they find it challenging to thrive in Nigeria.
Obi emphasized the significance of education as a catalyst for national development and urged students to strive for academic excellence, viewing education as a vital investment in their future.
