On Tuesday 12th of November 2024, The All Progressive Congress Young women Forum in Ondo State (APC PYWF ONDO STATE) led by it’s National President Hon Temitope Faith Iwagun embarked on a one day awareness /sensitization . Tagged: 500 WOMEN MARCH a solidarity movement aimed at mobilizing massive votes for His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The event which encouraged popular participation among Informal youths, public transporters & market women ahead of the 2024 Gubernatorial elections, had in attendance Thousands of women from the 18 local government and the 203 wards of Ondo State, who trouped out en-mass into the major streets and markets of Akure the state capital of Ondo State to Sensitize and encourage women to Join the moving train.
It was a wonderful time out has the energetic young women were seen singing, clapping, gyrating, dancing and encouraging people to vote for the all progressive congress in the November 16 Gubernatorial Election.
The Ondo State Rep of progressive Young Women Hon Leah Tolulope Akinfiresoye encouraged all indigenes of Ondo State to vote for the candidate of the APC in the forthcoming election.
Senior Legislative aide to the Senate president, Princess Aramide Aderonke Said during an interview with the press that women are the key determinants of every election and Saturday 16th November will not be an exception.
An appointee of the governor who doubles has the Ondo north senatorial district coordinator of the forum Hon Abiola Mary spoke extensively on how the forum has been impacting young women postively, the plans they have ahead of the elections
and how they intend to mobilize young women across the 203 Wards .
The National President of Progressive young women forum Hon Temitope Iwagun faith during an interview with the men of the press said that the 500 women solidarity march is one of the many initiatives of the forum that has yielded positive result over the year, she stressed further that Apc young women are 💯💯💯set to mobilize 500 votes per ward ahead of the saturday election.
