Edo State Governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has appointed Fred Itua as his Chief Press Secretary.
Itua’s appointment was announced in a statement personally signed by Okpebholo.
His appointment will take effect from Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
It is the first appointment to be made by the governor-elect as he prepares to form his cabinet.
Until his appointment, Itua was an Assistant Politics Editor with the Daily Sun newspaper with several years of experience in journalism practice.
He has a proven track record in the journalism profession, coupled with his dedication to maintaining high standards in public communication.
It is believed that Itua’s appointment will be a crucial asset to the Monday Okpebholo-led administration in Edo State.
