Ahead of the November 16 Local Government election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun Waterside Local Government received an enthusiastic reception on Monday as their campaign rally moved to Abigi and Makun/Irokun wards.
The Ogun Waterside APC leaders present at the event called on the people of Abigi and Makun/Irokun wards to vote for the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ganiyu Adetoye Odunnoiki , his running mate, Alhaja Olabode Ogunlana and all the councillorship candidates of the party , emphasizing that their victory would ensure people-focused projects in the Local Government.
The APC leaders who expressed confidence in Hon. Odunnoiki’s capabilities and competence, further described the APC chairmanship candidate as unifier who will bring unprecedented development to Ogun Waterside Local Government.
While responding, Hon. Ganiyu Adetoye Odunnoiki, the APC chairmanship candidate for Ogun Waterside Local Government, reassured residents of Abigi and Makun/Irokun wards of his commitment to addressing the unique needs of each ward.
He expressed confidence that his extensive experience and broad public support will propel him to success in office, if elected.
“By combining my private sector background and political experience, I am confident in my ability to successfully manage Local Government operations,” Odunnoiki added.
The APC chairmanship candidate promised to work with traditional rulers, community leaders and political stakeholders to provide essential social amenities that benefit the people of Ogun Waterside Local Government.
The campaign train is scheduled to arrive in Ode-Omi ward on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, for the final leg of the ward-to-ward campaign.
