The Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council (JCC), Ondo State Axis, Comrade Oluwarotimi Tobiloba Joshua, popularly known as JOSH, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and the Deputy Governor-elect, Dr. Olayide Adelami, mni, on their resounding victory in the recently concluded gubernatorial election in Ondo State.
In his congratulatory message, Comrade Oluwarotimi described their success as not only a testament to their hard work and commitment to the state’s progress but also as a clear endorsement of their leadership by the good people of Ondo State. He emphasized that the overwhelming support demonstrated by voters reflects the trust in their vision for continuity, stability, and development.
The Chairman noted with pride that, for the first time in the history of Ondo State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) won all 18 Local Government Areas during the gubernatorial election. This monumental achievement signifies a strong endorsement of the current administration’s policies and the continuity of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
Comrade Oluwarotimi highlighted that Governor Aiyedatiwa and Dr. Olayide Adelami’s victory represents a new chapter in the history of Ondo State. He also commended the Deputy Governor-elect’s exemplary track record and his significant contributions to the state’s growth, expressing confidence in their ability to lead the state to greater heights.
He lauded the leadership of the APC for its pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and credible electoral process. He particularly appreciated the strategic contributions of the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, whose guidance and leadership greatly influenced the resounding success of the party in Ondo State.
In his statement, Comrade Oluwarotimi reassured the Governor-elect and Deputy Governor-elect of the full support of the NANS JCC Ondo administration in advancing policies that prioritize education, youth empowerment, and the overall development of the state. He expressed optimism that their administration would foster a conducive environment for academic and social growth while addressing critical issues affecting the student community.
The NANS JCC Chairman praised the people of Ondo State for their peaceful conduct, high voter turnout, and unwavering belief in the APC’s vision for the state. He described the election as a landmark achievement in strengthening democracy and setting a benchmark for other states.
Comrade Oluwarotimi called on all stakeholders, irrespective of political affiliations, to unite behind the Governor-elect and Deputy Governor-elect in their shared mission to build a greater Ondo State.
