Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State hosted a high-profile delegation from The City UK (TCUK) and the UK’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office at Lagos House, Marina. The team, led by Anna Rogers, Director of International Development, engaged in discussions with members of the Lagos International Financial Centre (LIFC), spearheaded by Mr. Aig-Imoukhuede.
During the courtesy visit, the Governor emphasized Lagos State’s commitment to becoming a financial hub in Africa, leveraging partnerships with international organizations like TCUK. Sanwo-Olu praised the collaborative efforts of the LIFC and its leadership, highlighting their strategic importance in driving economic growth and investment in Lagos.
He further stated that such partnerships strengthen Lagos’ position as a financial powerhouse, fostering innovation and economic opportunities for the state and its residents.
