NNPCL announces leadership changes, replacing CFO Umar Ajiya and introducing fresh executive appointments to drive strategic goals.
In a recent restructuring of its leadership, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has appointed Adedapo A. Segun as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Umar Ajiya.
The announcement was made by the company’s spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, who also disclosed the appointments of Isiyaku Abdullahi as Executive Vice President (EVP), Downstream, and Udobong Ntia as Executive Vice President (EVP), Upstream.
These changes are part of NNPC Limited’s strategic initiative to enhance corporate governance and operational efficiency within Nigeria’s energy sector.
The Board expressed gratitude to Umar Ajiya and Oritsemeyiwa A. Eyesan for their dedicated service, reaffirming the company’s commitment to operational excellence and the interests of the Nigerian public in the petroleum industry.
