The Chief of Nkwabeng, Nana Appiah Adu Obrempong V, has made a heartfelt call for peace and unity in Ghana, particularly as the country approaches the general elections on December 7.
This call was made during the celebration of Kwafie festival in Nkwabeng, a suburb of Nkoranza in the Bono East Region, on Friday, 15th November, 2024, where the Chief emphasized the significance of the festival in promoting community bonding and purification.
He urged the people of Nkwabeng to put aside past conflicts to let bygones be bygones and work together towards progress with peace and unity, stressing that inclusivity is key to achieving success.
“If the chiefs and people of Nkwabeng pray for success, they will achieve more success, therefore I call for inclusivity in the effort to develop Nkwabengman”, he expressed.
In an exclusive interview with Fabea FM’s Apiah-Kubi, the Chief highlighted the importance of peace during and after the elections. He advised voters to prioritize development and vote accordingly.
The Chief also demonstrated his commitment to the community by donating 75 pieces of clothing, along with funds for sewing them. This generous gesture, according to him underscores his dedication to promoting peace and development in Nkwabengman.
