On Saturday, the ancient city of Kano witnessed a grand celebration as Dr. Aishatu Kwankwaso, daughter of former Kano State Governor Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, tied the knot with Fahad Mangal, son of prominent Katsina businessman Alhaji Dahiru Mangal.
The Wedding Fatiha was held at the palace of the 16th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, and officiated by the Chief Imam of Kano, Prof. Sani Zahraddeen. The ceremony drew a distinguished crowd of politicians, traditional rulers, and business leaders from across the country.
Prominent attendees included Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and former Senate President Bukola Saraki. Others in attendance were Senator Abdulaziz Yari, former Kaduna Governor Ahmed Makarfi, Senator Adamu Aliero, former Edo Governor Lucky Igbinedion, and many more.
The celebration marked a significant union between two influential families in Northern Nigeria. Guests at the ceremony shared heartfelt wishes for the couple, hoping their marriage will bring lifelong happiness and success.
