The lawmaker representing Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Alex Ikwechegh, Onyeocha n’Aba, on Tuesday, gave out thirteen 500KVA transformers to the representatives of some streets within the constituency.
The benefiting streets are Ukaegbu Road, Ngozi Avenue, Umuola, Nnentu, Port Harcourt Road, Iheorji Road, among others.
Hon. Ikwechegh , who also revamped Eziama and Riverine Primary Schools, while speaking to magic FM, emphasized his commitment to ensuring that the people of his constituency receive the benefits of democracy through proper representation and improved infrastructure.
Onyeocha n’Aba also inaugurated two buses for the use of Aba residents free of charge.
Some beneficiaries of the transformers showered appreciation for the lawmaker’s fulfilment of his campaign promises.
They thanked him for his swift intervention, noting that the transformers would help them get access to electricity and bring advancement to businesses and general living conditions.
Clergyaamen of different denominations were present during the events. These interventions came after 10 months into the lawmaker’s tenure in office.
