-Mike Ofikwu, a lawyer, was shot dead by gunmen in Otukpo town, Benue State, on Wednesday night at his residence.
-The lawyer was ambushed by two armed men while waiting for his gate to be opened, and he was shot at close range before being rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
-The Benue State Police confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is underway to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
