The special Assistant to Governor of Ondo State, Hon Oriade Adebawo has cautioned the people of Ondo state on the need to showcase and display good conducts ahead of the Saturday Election in the state.
The Governor Aide while speaking with Newsmen on Friday morning in Akure the state capital seeks indulgence of the people of Ondo on proper conducts.
According to him, we must not give room for violence in this election, all forms of thugery attempt must be shuned from all supporters of all the political parties.
We must allow the security officials to do their work and perform their duty diligently, the INEC offers must also be protected in order to discharge effectively.
It’s certain that, at the end of every contest, it is always one winner, hence we must comfort ourselves in a mature manner, certainly, a winner must emerge at the end of the poll.
I want to urge the good people of Ondo state, to shun violent at polling units, issues of vote buying and ballot snatching must not be tolerated.
Ondo state has been knowned to be a state of the elites and respectable people, so whatever we do or attitude to this poll will explain and show better image of the state to the entire world.
I want to urge to get calm and law abiding, we must not laws into our hands, we have more than enough security officials to do their assignment in due cause.
It is my prayer that God Almighty will continue to bless the Sunshine State, and the outcome of election shall be peaceful and resourceful in building the Ondo state of our dream, the Governor Aide Said
