Cardinal Foundation, an initiative of Cardinal Broadcasting under the leadership of City FM’s Chief Executive, Mrs. Doja Allen, is actively working to support the rehabilitation of Olajumoke Orisaguna, a former bread seller from Lagos.
Olajumoke gained fame in 2016 after inadvertently appearing in a photograph with British rapper Tinie Tempah, captured by Nigerian photographer TY Bello, which led to various endorsement deals and modeling opportunities.
During a recent press conference titled “The Comeback of Olajumoke (Oni Bredi),” Allen emphasized the foundation’s commitment to providing Olajumoke with essential resources and opportunities to rebuild her life, including the chance to resume her education and receive training at City Media Academy in radio presentation, news production, and digital content creation.
Upon completing her training, Olajumoke is set to join City 105.1 FM and host a new talk show, Kilon Shele, scheduled to air on Saturdays.
Allen expressed the foundation’s belief in the power of second chances and the importance of restoring dignity, highlighting Olajumoke’s journey as a source of inspiration for others.
At the event, Olajumoke reflected on her challenging experiences following her initial success and expressed gratitude to those who have supported her throughout her journey.
She specifically acknowledged Azuka Ogujiuba for her nurturing support, TY Bello for her encouragement to move beyond her past, and Mrs. Doja Allen for her financial assistance.
Additionally, she thanked Stanbic IBTC for covering her children’s educational expenses and expressed appreciation for everyone who has contributed to her well-being since 2016.
Azuka Ogujiuba, the Chief Executive of Mediaroom Hub, stated that initiatives are underway to support Jumoke.
She accused Victoria Ekong of exploiting her and defrauding her. Ogujiuba affirmed her dedication to recovering the losses incurred.
