Ladi Adebutu, the candidate representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 Ogun State governorship election, has been apprehended and is currently in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), as confirmed by the party.
Kayode Adebayo, the PDP Publicity Secretary in Ogun State, announced this development in a statement released in Abeokuta on Monday.
Adebayo indicated that Adebutu was summoned by the DSS for interrogation regarding alleged disruptions during the local government elections that took place on November 16, 2024.
