Denzel Washington calls out social media, saying it has warped people’s sense of reality and altered their understanding of truth.
Veteran American actor Denzel Washington recently shared his views on social media during a podcast interview with Paul Mescal.
He expressed concern for the current generation, highlighting the detrimental effects of social media, which he feels were absent in his own youth.
Washington emphasized that he does not engage with social media platforms, asserting that they create a distorted perception of reality.
He remarked, “I pray for your generation because we did not have to deal with what you’ve to deal with. It’s our fault to put it in your hands.”
He further noted the overwhelming presence of public opinion, stating that in his time, there were not countless opinions influencing one’s daily life, leading to confusion over sudden shifts in public sentiment.
