David Hundeyin claims the Nigerian government, in collaboration with the UK and other countries, is working to bring him to Abuja, sparking a public outcry.
Investigative journalist David Hundeyin has expressed concern regarding the Nigerian government’s intentions to return him to Abuja.
He revealed that the Federal Government, via National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, has recently coordinated with authorities in Kenya, Ghana, and the UK to facilitate his arrest.
In a detailed post on X, Hundeyin accused Ribadu of relentlessly pursuing him as a “trophy for Emperor Bola Ahmed.”
He voiced his disappointment over the lack of support from fellow Nigerians and urged Ribadu to cease discussions with leaders in Kenya and Ghana about his potential refoulement.
Hundeyin further declared his intention to refrain from reporting on Nigeria, emphasizing that he would redirect his focus towards Pan-African political commentary and news concerning the Sahel region, effectively distancing himself from Nigerian affairs.
