Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephine Ijeoma Otabor, aka Phyna, has shocked many Nigerians by publicly disowning her family.
The Edo-born reality star also revealed her decision to drop her surname, Otabor. She disclosed this via her verified X handle on Thursday night.
Phyna stated she has been going through difficulty times lately and further lamented that her family has never been supportive towards her since childhood.
The reality star wrote, āI am publicly dropping my family surname Otaborā¦ It has been proven that I actually have no family and nobody knows how I came aboutā¦. Iām still searching for answers though.
āItās been rough with me latelyā¦ā¦ Iām in a place where I canāt even describe how I feel or what to call what Iām going through. Going up and the way I was toss around relative I should suspected but guess I was too youngā¦ omo my head wan tear!!ā
Phynaās dad, Mr Otabor few months ago called her out in a national daily for not assisting him and his family since stardom.
