Anti-Narcotics Agency NDLEA confirms arrest of Over 52,000 Drug Traffickers In three Years

-The NDLEA has arrested 52,901 drug traffickers, including 52 drug barons, in the past three years.

-The agency has secured 9,034 convictions over the same period.

-NDLEA seized 8.6 million kilograms of illicit drugs and destroyed 1,572 hectares of cannabis farms.

-Many of those arrested were high-profile individuals, reflecting the widespread issue of drug trafficking in society.

-Recently, the NDLEA made a significant bust in Abuja, arresting two suspects with 1.8kg of methamphetamine intended for Qatar.
