Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has issued a stern warning to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, over alleged plans to destabilize the South-West region. Adeleke accused Ganduje of orchestrating moves to “take over” Osun and Oyo states from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to Sahara Reporters, Adeleke described the alleged plot as a threat to the peace and stability of the region, urging Ganduje to focus on uniting his party instead of fueling political tension.
“Osun and Oyo are PDP strongholds. Any attempt to disrupt our governance will be resisted,” Adeleke said.
He further stressed that the South-West people are committed to good governance and will not tolerate actions that undermine their democratic choice.
This warning follows recent allegations by PDP leaders that the APC is using federal might to manipulate political outcomes in PDP-controlled states. The APC has yet to respond to Adeleke’s claims.
