Governor Seyi Makinde assures Nigerians that the PDP is committed to addressing the nation’s issues. Learn more about his vision for Nigeria’s future.
Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has asserted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is committed to revitalizing both the party and Nigeria. This declaration was made during the inauguration of the Board of Governors and the launch of the Roadmap for the Peoples Democratic Institute (PDI) in Abuja.
The PDI, established in 2000, serves as the research division of the PDP, aimed at fostering a new democratic culture in Nigeria and Africa through enhanced education, training, and research initiatives.
Makinde emphasized that by restoring the PDP, the party would subsequently address the challenges facing Nigeria, thereby instilling genuine hope among its citizens.
He highlighted the necessity for the PDP to offer a clear ideological framework as the nation approaches the 2027 elections, urging leaders to reflect on their legacy and reaffirming his dedication to bolstering democracy within the country and the party.
