CREDICORP is thrilled to announce that 25,000 civil servants have successfully accessed consumer credit through its innovative programs. To celebrate this significant milestone, a working visit was made to the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Madam Didi Esther Walson-Jack.
During this important meeting, the Managing Director and CEO of CREDICORP, Engr. Uzoma Nwagba, emphasized the commitment of President Bola Tinubu (GCFR) to enhance the lives of Nigeria’s hardworking civil servants through accessible consumer credit. This initiative aims to provide access to essential goods and services that can improve their quality of life.
Additionally, CREDICORP introduced the CALM Fund, a new program specifically designed to facilitate access to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversion kits and solar panels. This initiative aligns with the goal of promoting sustainable energy solutions for civil servants.
Looking ahead, CREDICORP aims for deeper engagement with civil servants, targeting to reach 400,000 participants by the end of 2025. This effort not only supports the financial empowerment of civil servants but also contributes to Nigeria’s overall economic growth.
