The APC claims that Atiku has no real answers to Nigeria’s problems, calling his strategies ineffective. Discover the full statement here.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) stated that Atiku Abubakar, former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), would have continued to implement outdated and unsuccessful policies.
Felix Morka, the APC National Publicity Secretary, stated that Atiku never suggested anything concerning a unified exchange regime or the removal of fuel subsidies.
Peoplesmind reminds us that Atiku outlined several strategies he would have implemented to rescue Nigeria’s economy had he become president.
OBASANJONEWS also reported that the former Vice President criticized Tinubu’s decision to implement a floating exchange rate system, calling it excessive. He urged the President to be modest enough to consider adopting some of his ideas.
In response, Morka asserted that Atiku recognizes the inevitability of a price increase.
In a statement entitled “Atiku Would Have Done More of the Same Old, Failed Policies,” Morka expressed these views.
The announcement on X states: “@atiku Abubakar fully understands that price hikes are an unavoidable result of adopting a unified exchange system and eliminating the petrol subsidy. There’s no magical solution to prevent this, nor did Atiku suggest one.”
