The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has ordered the recruitment of an additional 700 personnel to boost the numerical strength and capacity of the state Security Network Agency, otherwise called Amotekun Corps.
The Corps Commander, Brigadier General Alade Adedigba (retd.), disclosed this in a statement sent to journalists on Saturday.
Adedigba said, “This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing security measures across the state and ensuring the safety of all residents.
“Interested applicants are encouraged to apply free of charge through the following link: ogunstateamotekun.com.ng. The application period will be open from 29th October to 18 November 2024.”
The Corps Commander said that following closely after the application phase is a comprehensive screening exercise scheduled to take place from 25th November to 11 December 2024, while the prospective applicants are urged to prepare adequately and adhere to the guidelines provided during this process.
He added, “This recruitment drive represents a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to bolster the capacity of the Amotekun Corps, enabling us to better serve and protect the citizens of Ogun State.
“We invite all eligible and interested individuals to take part in this important initiative and contribute to the collective security of our communities.”
