A deadly rocket attack by Hezbollah in northern Israel on Thursday resulted in the deaths of at least seven individuals, including an Israeli farmer and four Thai agricultural workers near Metula.
The Israeli military confirmed the launch of projectiles from Lebanon, with the casualties highlighting the ongoing violence in the region. In a separate incident, an Israeli woman and her son were also killed while working in an olive grove.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the assaults, which involved a barrage of 55 rockets. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking a potential ceasefire amid escalating tensions that have left over 60 dead in Israel and more than 2,800 in Lebanon since the conflict intensified.
