Ahead of Nov 16 Governorship Election in Ondo state, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu interacted with His Royal Highness, Oba Luyi Rotimi, the Olujigba of Ijigba in Akure South Local Government.
Dr Adu, who is the Deputy Director General (Central) of 2024 Election Campaign paid this courtesy visit to the cerebral monarch in his palace yesterday to solicit his support and that of his subjects for the incumbent Governor’s ambition.
Dr Adu reiterated the readiness of the government to finish the ongoing Oda road construction that passes through Ijigba community and to initiate many more life -touching projects if elected into power.
The community, through their Kabiyesi, presented their demands which included borehole, health facilities and road network to the DDG.
Olujigba praised Aiyedatiwa for his respect for the traditional institution and appreciated the upgrade of Olujigba title from an Olu to an Oba by the APC- led administration.
” The welfare of the traditional rulers and their emoluments have been given prompt attention by the present Governor”. Olujigba said.
Dr Adu, however, promised to relay their requests to the appropriate quarters but, on his own, approved the construction of a multi-million naira borehole to meet the water challenge of the residents.
The Kabiyesi prayed for Dr Adu and his entourage and extended his advanced congratulations to Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
