Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, RNZ Foundation President, has presented a N500,000 cash award to Dr. Zainab Yakubu, UNILORIN’s best graduating Medical Student at the 39th Professional Initiation Admission Ceremony for Batch A, Class of 2022.
Kwara-born Dr. Yakubu achieved outstanding academic performance, emerging top in, Medicine (69.5%) Surgery (71.2%), College of Health Sciences (71.05%), best student in Clinical Ophthalmology, Best female medical student and overall best graduating medical student of Class of 2022.
RNZ Foundation’s PRO, Mr. Sodiq O. Boladale, expressed RNZ Foundation’s commitment to promoting academic excellence in medicine, surgery, ICT, and STEM courses during the cheque presentation.
According to Mr. Boladale, RNZ Foundation is delighted to present the N500,000 donation to Dr. Yakubu for her exceptional academic performance.
Dr. Zainab, from Ilorin East Local Government Area, said in her appreciation remarks, “I’m grateful for this opportunity, which I hope marks the beginning of huge success for me and my family. Thank you, RNZ Foundation!”.
