Distributes and Installs Transformers in Osogbo, Olorunda, Aagba and Ila-Orangun
DISTINGUISHED Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi, Vice-Chairman of the Senate Committee on Communications, Trade and Investment, representing Osun Central Senatorial District, embarked on a 3-day inspection tour to evaluate the progress of capital projects across the ten local government areas in the senatorial district.
In his commitment to impactful development, Senator Fadeyi is personally monitoring ongoing projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the people of Osun Central.
A key highlight of the tour is the inspection of the 1km electrification project at the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ila-Orangun, where Senator Fadeyi has provided a 500 kVA transformer which is poised to improve the hospital’s power supply and bolster its capacity to deliver reliable healthcare services.
The tour also includes inspections of newly installed 300 kVA transformers in Osogbo, Olorunda and Aagba.
Senator Fadeyi is also overseeing the establishment of Ajagunla Radio 101.1 FM in Ila-Orangun, Ila Local Government Area. Once operational, this radio station will serve as a vital source for information, public enlightenment and community engagement as well as create job opportunities for youth to promote socioeconomic growth.
