VeryDarkMan reveals that Bobrisky was arrested while trying to evade the EFCC over allegations of a N15m bribe, sparking widespread discussion.
On Monday, social media activist Martins Ortse, who is also known as VeryDarkMan, claimed that security authorities have arrested the well-known crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.
VeryDarkMan claimed that Bobrisky was apprehended at the Seme border while trying to flee to Benin Republic in order to avoid an investigative hearing by the House of Representatives.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, VDM stated that Bobrisky was apprehended at the Seme border this morning while attempting to enter Benin Republic. This arrest is reportedly linked to efforts to evade an ongoing investigation by the House of Representatives. He is allegedly in custody with Nigerian immigration officials.
Recently, VDM released an audio recording in which Bobrisky purportedly claims to have bribed EFCC officials with N15 million.
During his conversation, Bobrisky mentioned that he avoided serving his six-month jail term in Kirikiri prison because of the influence wielded by his godfather.
The revelation prompted the House of Representatives to hold an investigative hearing, but Bobrisky did not attend, citing illness as the reason for his absence.
